What is in the weekly Watford Talking Newspaper?
The Watford and District Talking Newspaper is produced weekly by volunteers to keep blind and visually impaired listeners up to date with news from the Watford Observer and other items of special interest.
It is available free:
- on a USB stick, posted to you in a freepost wallet which you return to us for the next week.
- from our player page.
- using the British Wireless for the Blind Fund downloadable app.
- by telephone, by dialling 0330 22 33 452.
- or through Alexa, for which an Amazon account is needed.
We can provide a free player to those who are blind or visually impaired. We can make an appointment to explain everything, and ensure you can access the Talking Newspaper in the way you prefer. We can also leave an instruction sheet and contact phone number in case of problems.
